- Look at the POUCH in your inventory, open it, and read the note (T).

- Take the 1st AMULET SPARE PIECE (U).

- Look at the TORN NOTES for a mini-game (V).

- Restore the 2 pieces of paper by placing the scraps into the outlines (W).

- Take the papers: the clue (X) will go to your journal, and the CODE will go in your inventory.

- Note the mini-game on the shelf (A).

- Look at the chaise and take ALAN'S DREAMCATCHER and the PENCIL SHARPENER (B).

- Look at the BLUNT PENCIL in your inventory; use the PENCIL SHARPENER on the pencil to make the PENCIL (C).
