* Give the CHAIN to Victor (T).

* Place the handle on the hammer head; take the HAMMER (U).

* Use the HAMMER on the chain (V).

* Use the FLINT on the lantern (W); take the LAMP.

* Walk down.

* Talk to Victor (X).

* Walk left.
