Often described as a giant (larger than human proportions), emaciated from a ravenous hunger, a rotting and stinking hulk, and bridled with a nasty disposition to include: greed, gluttony, and access, some say the Wendigo is a myth characterized this way purposefully to discourage the same traits in humans. Others say the beast is real—flesh and blood—while others say it may be a spirit-form or “elemental” creature, much like the Puckwudgie of New England lore.
