1. This is the official guide to 9: The Dark Side of Notre Dame Collector's Edition.

2. Select Options to adjust the Music, Effects, and Voice Volume. You can also adjust Full Screen and Software Cursor.

3. You may select between Casual, Advanced and Hardcore Mode.

4. You will acquire a Map during gameplay which will appear on the lower left of your toolbar (l). You may use it to travel quickly to other areas and to see where you have unfinished quests.

5. Hidden object scenes are referred to as HOS throughout the guide.

6. Puzzles may be skipped and most can be reset.

7. Move your cursor down to the bottom of the screen to raise the Inventory bar (2). You may lock it in the up position by closing the padlock.

8. Select the Hint button on the bottom right to get a hint in HOS and in the main quest (3).

9. Inventory items will be marked in all CAPS in the strategy guide.

10. The Bonus Chapter will unlock when the standard game is complete.

11. The Bonus Content consists of Wallpapers, Soundtrack and Concept Art.
