You can change your playing mode during the game from the Options screen. You have a new task. Click on "TASKS" to view the current tasks. Your first task is find a shelter to warm up. Your cursor will change to a hand over items that you can pick up. There are additional buttons on the inventory panel: lock tool bar and enlarge items. You can move between locations by clicking on the area where your cursor changes to a navigation icon.
